A thing means a thing and it is an obligation to utter things in meaningful ways, else the tree of misunderstandings will multiply through the ages, as we can notice when trying to comprehend our common history (that is of mankind ;@), where different believers and thus beliefs are in battle to protect their common falsehoods, while it is a universal mistake to believe, ie to accept things as true while not even taking the slightest move to verify things.
